It’s time to meet more amazing artists joining IPS Residency 2025!

LUCA WEBER says "I am an actress & performance artist exploring socio-political themes through collective creation. Having a keen interest and several years of study in sociology and politics at Uni, my work explores modern socio-political themes through performance art - body diversity, experimental imagery, social nuance, and connotation of physicalities. Using a myriad of perspectives, I aim to combine experimental scenography, movement and poignant socio-political criticism that transcend individualism and foster shared artistic experiences that still resonate for the individual."

YUQI ZHOU is a freelance lighting designer and external lecturer in lighting design at the Shanghai Theatre Academy, where he is currently undertaking a DFA in Digital Design for Performance. He holds a BA (2018) and MFA (2021) in Lighting Design from the Shanghai Theatre Academy, and received an MA with Distinction in Design for Performance from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in 2023. His practice encompasses a broad spectrum of performance genres, including theatre, opera, dance, musical theatre, Chinese traditional opera, and children’s theatre, with his recent works selected for the Emerging Lighting Design section at World Stage Design 2025.

MARIAM GELASHVILI says "I am an artist from Tbilisi, Georgia. During my bachelor years at Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, where I was studying graphic arts (printmaking), in parallel, I participated in various projects and had my first direct contact with installation and performance art within the projects ARTISTERIUM 14 and 15. After graduating from the academy, I enrolled in the Gogi Alexi Meskhishvili Design School, where I had my first serious contact and deep dive into scenography and set design, as well as into contemporary art."
