It’s time to meet some more amazing artists joining IPS Residency 2025!

✍️ DIEGO CELAYA ESTRADA is an actor, set designer, and playwright. He holds degrees in Acting (ENAT, 2022) and Architecture (ITESM Morelia, 2016), blending both disciplines through visual storytelling. His scenic work includes El retablo de las maravillas (2019) and Avería en la casa 5 (2024). He has assisted Antonio Saucedo since 2023 in plays such as Duda: Una parábola, Esquizofrenia, and Marvin’s Room (2025). As a playwright, his piece Por obra de Cristo was selected for the Edición antinavideños at La Capilla. He has also performed in independent film projects, expanding his practice across stage and screen.

🎨 KWOK CHING (ELLEN) says "I am currently studying at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in theatre design. I specialize in scenic art, where I learn practical painting techniques for live performances. While studying at the academy, we participate in various productions, allowing us to experience different aspects of a production, such as doing scenic artwork, making props, or being a dresser. Meanwhile, I have a keen interest in drawing and photography, as it allows me to express myself and capture the beauty around me."

🎭 DORA CROALLY says "I’m 21, and currently studying for a BA in Design for Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Prior to Royal Welsh, I did a foundation year in Theatre Screen and Performance at Camberwell College of Arts. I’ve always loved the visual arts, especially anything 3D or textiles related, and growing up dancing has given me a love for movement and its ability to communicate story and feeling. As well as a strong interest in costume, since starting my BA I’ve come to really enjoy puppetry and puppet making."

Don't forget! There are more artists' presentations to come!
