Meet the IPS 2025 participants: DARIA, CHEUK YIN LEE and LIN QIWEN VASILIA

It’s time to meet three more amazing artists joining IPS Residency 2025!

🖼️ DARIA ARSU says "I'm a scenographer, student in my last year of the scenography bachelor programme at the National University of Theatre and Film "I.L.Caragiale" (UNATC). I have participated in a costume workshop led by Corina Grămoșteanu, organised for the 2024 Bucharest Scenography Binnale. The costume I made was presented during the exhibition "Crafting the Future – Hands on Scenography: Sustainability and the Performing Arts". I also participated in a scenography exhibition with the project "The Tempest" by William Shakespeare during "Shakespeare Fringe", with the occasion of Craiova International Shakespeare Festival in 2024."

🎭 CHEUK YIN LEE is a student who has a deep passion for the performing arts. Since 2018, he has been actively involved in theater in a variety of capacities, including performing, stage management, and audio. In the academic year 2024–2025, he began his professional studies at HKAPA, majoring in stage and event management. As a member of the SM team, he participated in a variety of performances throughout the year, including dance, musicals, concerts, and educational shows. Aside from stage management, he enjoys working with audio and bringing his surreal ideas to life in different forms of art.

🧵 LIN QIWEN VASILIA is a second-year Costume Technology student in Theater Design at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. She graduated from the Hong Kong Design Institute, specializing in Costume Design for Performance, and received the Best Material Application Award at the HKDI Image Show 2023. She graduated from the Hong Kong Design Institute, specializing in Costume Design for Performance, and received the Best Material Application Award at the HKDI Image Show 2023. Vasilia actively participates in school productions, serving as a member of the costume, hair and makeup teams. In addition to her costume knowledge, she enjoys learning about prop making, further enriching her skills in the field of scenography and performing arts.
