It’s time to meet the first three amazing artists joining IPS Residency 2025!💫

🖌️ ALYSA LEUNG is an artist and dramaturg based in Hong Kong, travelling between Asia and Europe. She is graduated with an M.A. in Contemporary Theatre, Dance and Dramaturgy at Utrecht University (2021-2022) with a full Holland Scholarship. She researches connections between sites, body, and self-identity with intercultural artistic research, experimental performance, and community arts. Her research interest covers cities to oceanic cultures. In 2024, she was the resident artist of “The Young Arts Tech Talents Residency Scheme” and was awarded the Emerging Artist Grant 2024 from HKADC.

💃🏼 ARANZA GONZÁLEZ says “ I am an architect from UNAM, with one year of studies at UPV/EHU (Spain), and choreographer from INBAL. I explore the intersection of architecture and dance through my project arqdanza. My work integrates scenography, stage lighting, and choreography to create choreo-installations. I collaborate with dance companies as a set and lighting designer and am currently a recipient of the Jóvenes Creadores grant from SACPC, in Stage Design, specializing in Scenography.”

🖼️ ALICE VANINI holds a Bachelor’s degree in Scenography from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, and a Master’s degree in Scenography from the Norwegian Theatre Academy (NTA) / Østfold University College in Fredrikstad. She combines her background in traditional theater with an experimental approach, working with Expanded Scenography applied to dance, performance, theater, and opera. Space becomes a dramaturgical tool, and the audience an active, generative force within the performance. She currently lives and works between Norway and Italy.
Stay tuned! There’s more amazing partipants presentations to come!
