Fourth Edition:  Face to Face. Who Is the Other

The fourth edition of the International Program in Scenography unfolded

over 14 days (August 25 – September 7) in the Roman Castrum of Ovidiu

and along the Siutghiol Lake shore. The chosen theme, “Face to Face.

Who is the Other?”, invited international artists to explore notions of

alterity, the encounter with the other, and reflections on one’s own identity.

The program was structured in two stages. The first week (August 25–31)

focused on research, experimentation, and collaborative work through

workshops and masterclasses led by the mentors. The second week

(September 1–6) was dedicated to building the installations and running

children’s workshops designed for the local community.
